Yonghai Yue is a professor at Beihang University, a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Foundation, and was elected as the Yangtze River scholar professor authorized by the Ministry of Education. He is mainly engaged in the preparation of strong and lightweight composites and the investigation of the strengthening and toughening mechanism by in-situ electron microscopy. In recent years, he has published more than 50 papers as the first and corresponding author in international important journals such as Nature, Science, Nat. Mater. and Matter, etc., centering on related fields. More than 40 patents have been authorized. In recent years, he has presided over and participated in the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the Key Project of Regional Joint Fund of the Foundation Committee, and the National Natural Science Foundation.
