Associate Professor Ke Chen has received his Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry from Huaibei Coal Normal College in 2007, his master's degree in Physical Chemistry from Inner Mongolia University in 2010, and his Doctor's degree in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Beihang University in 2016. After graduation, he continued to do postdoctoral research in Beihang University, and joined the Key Laboratory of Bio-Inspired Smart Interfacial Science and Technology of Ministry of Education School of Chemistry, Beihang University, in 2020. He is mainly engaged in the design, preparation and properties of light, strong and tough micro-nano composite materials. He has published more than 20 research papers as the first and corresponding authors in Nat. Mater., Matter. Adv. Funct. Mater., ACS Nano, Carbon and other journals. He has applied for 4 invention patents, three of them have been authorized. These works have also been reported by media within and without China, and raised lots of concerns. Some of the achievements have been potentially applied cooperation and exploration in cooperation with aerospace and national defense institutes.
